("DateDish," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the DateDish mobile application and related services (the "App"). 2. Age Restriction (18+)

DateDish is strictly for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an under-18 user has created an account, we will promptly delete the account and associated data. 3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account & Profile Information

Includes email address, username, password, age, gender, location, preferences, and profile elements (e.g., photos, bio).

3.2 User Content

Photos, videos, messages, and "Dish" reviews you submit. AI-generated, synthetic, or deepfake images/videos are prohibited and may result in account deletion.

3.3 Device & Usage Data

IP address, device identifiers, app version, diagnostics, crash logs, and interaction metrics.

3.4 Location Data

Approximate location if you enable location-based features (e.g., discovering nearby matches). You can disable location access at any time via device settings, though certain features may not function.

3.5 Payments

Processed securely via Apple's In-App Purchase system. We may receive limited transaction metadata (e.g., subscription status) for account servicing.

4. How We Use Information

• Operate, maintain, and improve the App and services
• Authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent fraud
• Personalize experiences and facilitate matches and messaging
• Send transactional notices (e.g., account, billing, policy updates)
• Comply with legal obligations

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:

• Service Providers: cloud hosting, analytics, moderation, content safety, customer support, payments.
• Verification Partners: third-party services such as Trestle to verify phone numbers, deliver OTP codes, and validate identity solely for account security and anti-fraud.
• Legal & Safety: to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect users and the public.
• Business Transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, consistent with this Policy.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@datedish.com. If your account is terminated for violations (e.g., under-18 use or AI images), we may retain limited data necessary to prevent fraud, ensure safety, and comply with legal obligations.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data; to restrict or object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent where applicable. 9. Third-Party Services (e.g., Trestle)

We engage reputable third-party service providers—including Trestle—for phone number verification, OTP delivery, fraud prevention, hosting, analytics, and support. These providers may process limited personal information on our behalf and are contractually obligated to use it only for the specified services and to protect it appropriately.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored outside your country of residence. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) to protect cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

13. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from DateDish, including one time verification codes during account registration and, if you choose to invite a contact, an invitation message on your behalf containing a link to download the App. Message frequency varies depending on your use of the App. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of non essential messages at any time by replying STOP, or request help by replying HELP. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent collected for these purposes are not shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
