House rules

1. You must be 18 or older to post, vote or enter the giveaway.
2. It's about the date, never the person. No names (even first names), photos, phone numbers, emails, @handles, usernames, workplaces, schools, addresses or links. Don't post anything that could identify someone.
3. Keep it PG-13. Mild language is fine. No slurs, hate speech, harassment, threats, graphic or sexual content.
4. Tell your own stories truthfully. No spam, ads or promotions.
5. Leave DateDish out of it. Posts can't mention DateDish. Dish Stories are about your dates.
6. Date spots are recommendations only. Share places that are great for a date and why. No negative venue reviews, and venues can't recommend themselves.
7. We moderate. Posts are screened automatically and may be held for review. DateDish can remove any post at any time. Reported posts are reviewed, and posts with several reports are hidden until reviewed.
8. Your post, our page. By posting, you confirm the story is yours to share and give Date Dish Inc. permission to display and share it on datedish.com and DateDish social channels, anonymously. Stories are user content and don't reflect the views of Date Dish Inc.

Monthly swag giveaway: official rules

No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.

1. Sponsor: Date Dish Inc., Arlington, Virginia ("DateDish").
2. Eligibility: Legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 18 or older. Employees of DateDish and their immediate families are not eligible.
3. Entry period: Each calendar month is a separate giveaway, starting at 12:00 a.m. ET on the first day and ending at 11:59 p.m. ET on the last day.
4. How to enter: Post a story on Dish Stories during the month and include your email address in the optional email field. Each story that is approved and published counts as one entry, up to 5 entries per person per day. Posting is free.
5. Prize: One (1) DateDish merchandise item (for example, a t-shirt), approximate retail value $35, awarded each month. Prizes are not transferable, and no cash or substitution is offered except at DateDish's discretion.
6. Winner selection: One winner per month is chosen in a random drawing from all eligible entries within 14 days after the month ends. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. Notification: The winner is notified at the email provided and must reply within 7 days with a U.S. shipping address, or an alternate winner may be drawn.
8. Privacy: Entry emails are used only to run the giveaway and contact the winner. They are never shown publicly.
9. General: DateDish may cancel or modify the giveaway if it cannot run as planned, and may disqualify entries that break the house rules. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Apple, Google, Meta, TikTok or X.
